As an Admin, I’d like to place custom form fields from the Form Field Manager add-on in different sections of the form simultaneously rather than in just 1 section of the form, so that I can add the custom fields in the section that is more intuitive based on context.

This feature is now available in GiveWP 3.0 forms! Update GiveWP to the latest version (presently 3.0.4) to see the new “Try new form builder” option available to create new forms or migrate your current forms. Bettina Mueller via Priority SupportI’ve added a field on my forms for Company. Many donations are from companies. It’s the end of the year. We send out a physical mailing to all the people who donated on our list in Give. I’ve exported my donors with name, address, but I’m missing the Company name. I don’t see this as an option on the export donors selection. (see screenshot) It is really important that I have this data. I can get company name if I export donation history but that pulls up ALL the donations per donor and that means I have to sort and delete all duplicates in order to get a mail list with name, company name, address in order to mail. It should be fairly easy for you guys to add that field in the export donors - can you do that?
Hey folks! Exciting news! We’re deep into the process of creating the next-generation of GiveWP Donation Forms, and are having a town hall to show it off. This feature request will be released as a part of that next gen form building experience! Sign up for the town hall meeting here: https://givewp.com/lps/next-generation-donation-forms/ See you on August 18th!
Ben Meredith: Will this be compatible with legacy forms?
Ian Anderson: Legacy forms are not going anywhere. The question of “will functionality to build a form with the new form builder that results in the legacy template being used” is one I don’t know the answer to, but exactly the type of feedback we are looking to collect and answer at the town hall meeting. Definitely attend and ask!
Timothy De La Salle via Priority SupportIssue Description: 1. Editing a form - Trying to add a form field positioned in a different location to existing form field (via form field manager plugin as depicted here: https://talk2fly.d.pr/bLpQYQ 2. An option to allow form fields to be individually positioned 3. All forms defined with ffm plugin have to be positioned in the same location Is there a way I can add a field below the email address whilst at the same time retaining the existing “form field manager” field position at the bottom? Thanks John
Jeanne Smith via Customer Success Postsaledemo(https://secure.helpscout.net/conversation/1800934597/118076?folderId=1906143) Jeanne would like to add various FFM fields in various locations on her forms.
Ted Barnett Via Priority Support: We need the Custom Fields: - I am giving to a Missionary (radio ) - I am giving to a Project (radio) - Name of Missionary or Project ( text input ) … all on the first stage Then we need Phone ( text input ) … on the second stage.
Asociación Española del Síndrome de S via Priority Support I want to insert two new fields in the form, but when I want to select the position, the program only lets me put both in the same place, not letting me choose if I want to put a field in one part of the form or another field in another part
This is a longstanding request for Form Field Manager and something we definitely need to take a look at. I’m going to put together some things for our team to consider in making this feature a reality. Vote here and give as much context as possible for us to understand how you’d like to see this feature used.
Ben Meredith: great to know you are looking at this. For us, we’d love as much flexibility as possible with custom fields. So being able to move them around individually above and below other fields would be really helpful.
PD van der Westhuizen via Priority SupportHi there. I am trying to use the Form Field Manager to add fields to the form. But I would like to have both some of the fields at the bottom of the form, and other fields below the payment options. It seems as though the native functionality does not allow this, is that correct? If so, is there a work around? I just want to add a simple HTML link below payment options.
Additionally, users would like to insert FFM fields below the first/last name or email section of the forms.
Chelsea Morrison via Priority SupportFrom what I can see, when you have multiple custom fields and you update the field location so let’s say, below the donation options, they are a package deal? they can not be separated? is this correct? My hope is to have one custom field below the donation options and another custom field above the payment options. But I am not sure if this is possible.
