Currently, the GiveWP Accountant role cannot access:

• All Forms
• All Donations
• All Donors
• Campaigns

We have reviewed this feedback and are conducting an audit of GiveWP roles. We plan to update our roles to ensure proper access after the audit is complete.

Until then, this post will remain Open, and we’ll update as soon as we have something concrete to share.

Angela Blake: Was able to confirm on all items. Also was able to recreate the issue on my end. The accountant role does not have access to the reports.

• Accountant is the only GiveWP role that should have access to these and doesn’t.

• No other role/access limiting factors are at play.

• Users are running the latest version of GiveWP.

Sarah Peters: How do I tell if I am assigned as a Give WP accountant user or just a worker? When I go to the dashboard and then donations, I don’t see tools so either I am going to the wrong place or I am not assigned as an accountant user.

to Donations

Tools > Export. there aren’t any menu options for tools or for export. I updated all of our plugins and tried again. I even tried clicking Switch to

New View. It still isn’t available. I’ve attached a screenshot of what we

have available.

Running into an issue with user permissions. I’ve added a user as a GiveWP accountant, but they are not able to see Donations and Donors (see screenshot for the bug)

Is this intended? When I upgraded the user to GiveWP administrator, they are able to properly see the account info.

We’re working on a fix for this 🙂
