Create Crowdfunding Campaign Platforms like GoFundMe with GiveWP#22

I’d like to use GiveWP for crowdfunding capabilities like GoFundMe. Some GiveWP users want to give their website visitors the power to create their own campaigns, like P2P but for their own fundraising goal. The fundraiser would have their own page, donation form, and receive the funds of their individual campaign.

(edit) The first step would be a submission form for users to fill out to request creation of their Campaign Page. This will allow the admin the option to approve/deny the application.
Ideally, the submission form would create a Campaign draft in the site’s admin dashboard.

“Is there any feature that allows users to create accounts on the website and then make their own fundraising goals? We are building the website with the intention to provide parents with the tool to gather money for their children in need.”

“Initially, I couldn’t find other crowdsourcing options and regrettably committed to the $500 price tag here.”

“do you have dashboard and submit form for fundraisers, as we want the one who needs fund to create the campaign for themselves with all pics, documents upload etc.”

Issue Description: Hi, team we would like to know. Is it possible to create a p2p campaign in the front end like this https://prnt.sc/OV0UKJkgRuP4 ? I notice that the only way for us now to create need to submit it in the backend so we’re asking if we can’t possibly create a form or if there is any shortcode for creating a p2p campaign that we can use in the front end of the site.

Is it possible for other users to create their own crowdfunding campaigns for their own projects?

Thanks in advance.

Hi, we’re interested in possibly using GiveWP for a site we’re

developing and had a few questions to see if it’s a right fit for us.

First, our site will function somewhat like GoFundMe. Does GiveWP allow

users to sign up and administer their own causes or campaigns? At a

minimum, we would like the users to be able to provide a few details and

pictures that would populate a landing page.

Assuming the former is possible, would users be able to log into the

site and have a dashboard that gives them information on their campaign?

Thanks for any information you can provide.

Similar to causematch.com, I would prefer to have all my non-profit clients use a page (mydomain.com/client-1) on my site instead of making a new site for each client.

Since they’re each different orgs using our crowdfunding platform, will I need to give them a separate plugin?

If a subdomain is required (client-1.mydomain.com) then will I need to purchase a separate plugin for each client?

They will want to use this for crowdfunding purposes. Which plan do you recommend?

Hi, I wanted to know if it was possible to use Peer-to-Peer Fundraising to enable people to create pages to raise money but also to have a registration form for a specific event and any ticket sales that they get are added to their fundraising page. Is that possible?

I am evaluating the GiveWP Pro plugin and associated Peer-to-Peer fundraising add-on for a potential client project, and I have a few questions about how the peer-to-peer capabilities work in practice:

User Accounts & Login Access.

Does the Peer-to-Peer functionality allow individual fundraisers/supporters to register and log in with their own accounts to manage their fundraising pages? If so, what level of access do they have — for example, can they see their own donation totals, campaign progress, donor lists, or other analytics?

Progress Reporting & Visibility.

Within the standard Peer-to-Peer feature set, do individual fundraisers receive dashboard-style progress reporting (e.g. total raised, number of donors, campaign goals, goal bars etc.) that is visible to them when logged in? Or is this only viewable by the site administrator?

Fund Settlement / Payment Flow.

In a peer-to-peer setup, how are donations handled in terms of settlement? Does GiveWP support a model where donations raised by an individual fundraiser are automatically remitted directly to that fundraiser’s bank account (minus processing fees), or are all funds typically collected centrally into the host website’s payment account and then distributed manually?

Donor/Peer Permissions.

Are there built-in user roles or capabilities that allow peer fundraisers to access only their own campaign data and not broader site data?

Reporting Exports / Scheduled Reports.

Does the plugin or add-on provide any built-in mechanisms for scheduling or exporting reports (e.g., weekly totals per campaign or per fundraiser) that can be emailed or downloaded?

Thanks in advance for the clarification — any detail you can provide on these scenarios would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I’m actually looking to use your plugin to create a Fundraising Company. Something that I could sell to local groups where I could use the peer to peer with text donations feature. My question is that something you’ve seen the plugin used for? My second question is, when i create a “Fundraiser” do they get a login so they can go in and set up a contact list to send text out to. Thats kind of how I want it to work. I have several other request but I thought I would start here to see if this is possible.

“I have a question, with you Plus version, can we build a Crowdfunding website like Go Fund me to allow users launch their own campaign?

Also, is there a way to pause the campaigns for review by our team after the user created their campaign and before letting the campaign go live?

Thanks

Amin”

A great example of what is needed for a crowdfunding platform is https://palmera.org/fundraise/
Their “Create a Campaign” form: https://palmera.org/create-campaign/
