Right now it is not possible to direct the user to something like a video or a thank you letter after they made the donation using the multi-step form. In the least, the provision of a snippet that can force a redirect after the donation would be fine too.
Currently, it is possible to redirect a donor to a custom thank you page with the receipt shortcode using the Per Form Confirmations addon with the legacy template. It would be ideal to extend that addon to the multi-step template as well.
This is also important for the functioning Google Analytics and other UTM tracking.

“is there a way to setup a Thank You page with a unique url for conversion tracking?”
I’m trying to streamline my workflow by having my form data automatically redirected to another URL after submission. This would save me time and make the process more efficient. Could you please consider adding this feature?

When we made the Visual Form Builder the default editor for GiveWP in version 3.16.0 on August 28, 2024, we included an option to redirect to the donation confirmation page instead of displaying confirmation inside the form. This option will help with Google Analytics and other UTM tracking.
We are not updating the older form templates at this time. If you need this feature, we recommend updating GiveWP to the latest version and using the Visual Form Builder.
We would like this too, please.
Ben Meredith: Thanks Ben, great to know this is being evaluated for the new forms. Additionally however could you reconsider how the functionality works with the original extension; forcing us to have the receipt shortcode in order to accept a redirect is very limiting when what we really need is to be able to redirect anywhere we like, even to an offsite URL. I would suggest a redirect field that auto suggests any page on the site, but also accepts a plaintext url. This would allow me to: - Create donation “funnels” - Donate to “watch a video” e.g. unlisted on Vimeo / YouTube” - Donate to “join the facebook group” Or any number of other reasons I might want to direct a user to anywhere I like without being handcuffed to the receipt shortcode. (Which I simply embed and then hide for everyone anyway to get around it) :)
Fergal Cunnane via Priority Support I have the multi step form set up on the website How can i get the successful page redirect working on the multi step form I cannot use the legacy form, it looks so poor I need to use the multi step and the page redirect together
I agree, although I would broaden this to describe it as: Custom Confirmation Page: Per Form (AKA Custom Thank You Page / Redirect) As an admin I need the ability to set a custom url for the thank you or confirmation page depending on the exact form submitted. I want to be able to customise the thank you content depending on what my donor donated to, but more importantly I want to be able to set up donation funnels that depend on being able to direct a user to a specific upsell page having donated. Currently using the multistep form, the iframe loads the parent page within itself over and over again if it is set as the confirmation page for any form. Using the legacy form, you can only achieve a single step before the form redirects to itself again.
Marco Principia: That’s definitely on the list as well. We’re considering whether to make that add-on compatible with the Visual Builder or just build the feature in.
Any updates on this?????
Angela Blake What about the possibility to use a custom page on a per-form basis as with the “Per Form Confirmations” add-on? Specific forms should have specific confirmation pages…
Hi guys, is there any update on this? It would be really useful being able to have a thank you video for donors when they have made a donation on the multi-step form.
Neil Massey via Priority Support I have another question now though! Is it possible to force a multi-step overlay form to redirect to a donation confirmation page rather than to step 4? We are being asked for all donations to land on the confirmation page by our marketing and seo team.
